No longer using Square store

February 24, 2026 4:26 pm

As of today I am non longer using Square. This means I no longer have an online store. That said, not having an online store never stopped me before. In fact, I'd much rather sell direct rather than pay fees to Square and have myself at the mercy of an entity that can just up and decide they want to try to cripple my business. Joke's on them, because I'm still here and they're not getting any more of my money.

Any questions let me kmow.

New Chat Tool

February 24, 2026 12:23 am

If you're on the website (and you are!) and you have a question, head on over to the Contact page and click the blue/white chat button. If I'm online it'll come to me and you'll get an immediate response. If I'm not online I will check it later and reply as needed. You can see my ONLINE/OFFLINE status at the very bottom of the contact page. As always, you can still use the contact form at the top of the page, call me, use social media, etc. I look forward to hearing from you.

New Russian Uvarovite Garnet!!!!

February 9, 2026 1:12 am

I love a good rock. More specifically, I love crystals and other natural minerals. I inherited my love of rocks from my dad. He loves rocks too, but he's more into just picking random rocks up off the ground and looking for "faces" on their surfaces - natural features that seem to make something resembling a face. When I was a kid he had a house in the sticks and we'd spend hours walking in the woods, just picking up rocks and taking in the scenery. Good times. These days I'm more into gems, natural mineral specimens, raw stones, tumbles, natural stone beads, pearls, and the like. I love colorful and shiny.

This beauty is a Russian Uvarovite garnet specimen I recently bought from Healing Minerals out of Colorado - a small home-based business run by Jeremy and his lovely wife Ashley. Garnets come in so many different colors. I'd seen green garnet before, but never this gorgeous shade of almost emerald green. This piece isn't something I'd want to turn into jewelry - it's something I'll set up somewhere and admire. If you look at it closely you can see all the tiny garnet crystals on the surface. They almost look like sparkly moss - moss being something else I am very fond of - hey, it's soft and fuzzy and I like to touch it.

This was my first purchase from Healing Minerals. Jeremy and Ashley recently had a gnarly rollover accident on an icy mountain road that left them shaken and stirred, with injuries and no vehicle. I wanted to do more to help but I really couldn't - and the best way to help is to buy rocks. I love supporting small businesses and shopping small. Always support individuals trying to make their way doing what they love to do. Jeremy is very passionate and knowledgeable regarding all things minerals and rocks.

Check out Healing Minerals on TikTok here --> @healing_minerals. If you like crystals, rocks, and minerals, including rare stuff and stuff you may have never heard of, this is the place to go. Check it out.

Let's catch up!

February 7, 2026 10:18 pm

Hi There. Long time no see, eh?

Well, what had happened was...I fell on hard times (still there, honestly) and the old domain/website fell by the wayside and was deactivated. I'm back! Thank you for your continued support.

Luckily I had a backup of the website so I was able to implement it with just a few clicks and tweaks here and there. Some may call it digital hoarding. Either way it saved me alot of time and effort. Basides, I liked the layout of it. So it lives.

In other news, we finally hit 1K on the TikTok! Woot!

Thank you for stopping by.

That was weird

April 16, 2025 5:35 am

Somehow half my site was deleted. I'm not saying it's my fault, but it I'm also not saying it's not my fault. At least I was smart enough to make a backup on April 10th. I know that was the date because I dated the folder. (Because of course I did.)

Anyway, I was working on building some tools and things and suddenly - POOF - things were gone that I wasn't working on. Website restored.

Back to Square

April 9, 2025 10:44 pm

I tried to switch the site to Shopify, but after giving it much effort and thought I've reactivated the Square store and gave up on Shopify. The backend interface is confusing, I couldn't figure out how to setup certain things on the online store, and I just didn't like it. Shopify is too expensive anyway. If Craftylishus Jewelry was was raking in the big bux maybe I'd consider Shopify, but alas, it is not.

I suppose now is a good time to say that Craftylishus Jewelry's online store accepts payment via Cash App and Afterpay!

For more info on Afterpay click here. (And FWIW, Block owns Square, Cash App, and Afterpay, so at this point I guess it is what it is. Block is the Walmart-Amazon of online payments. Sigh.)

Store is closed for the time being

April 8, 2025 9:11 pm

The online store is closed for administrative reasons but will either reopen or move to a new platform ASAP. I will keep you posted here. I am still very much open for business, though. If you'd like something custom-made or if you'd like to get something I have already made, ready-to-ship, contact me via the contact form or social media and I will get back to you ASAP!!

Nope

Yeah, that wasn’t it.
